Circular Serrated Ornament with Shell Pattern
Circular Serrated Ornament with Shell Pattern is classified as a National-Level cultural relic. Measuring a mere diameter of 2.1 centimeters and a thickness of only 0.12 centimeters, it features intricate serrated patterns along its outer edges. Nestled within the upper section of the ornament is a small hole measuring approximately 0.4 centimeters in diameter, which served the purpose of stringing it onto a cord for adornment. This simple use of a cord attests to the ancient practice of adorning oneself with accessories. Unearthed in 1981 at the Southwest Village Site in Zouping country, this circular serrated ornament dates back approximately 7000 years, representing relics from the Northern Xin culture period.
