The Binzhou City Museum houses a fossilized pair of moose antlers, measuring a total of 86 centimeters in length. They were discovered during the dredging of the Zhimai River in Huimin District in 1977 (now Guangrao County in Dongying City). The antlers are estimated to date back to the Neolithic period, around 7,000 to 10,000 years ago.

According to zoologists’ research, male moose begin to develop branched antlers at the age of two, with full development occurring at around six years old. These antlers are highly developed, indicating that the individual moose from which they originated was at least six years old.
